We Look Different – Here’s Why.

A message from President/CEO, Jim Lumpkin.

Dated: July 16th, 2014

Dear Members,

For those of you that attended the Annual Meeting on June 24th, you got a sneak peek at what’s ahead for USAgencies. I’d like to take this opportunity to fill the rest of you in on the exciting changes ahead.

In late July/early August, we will be rolling out a new look for the Credit Union. The goal of this effort is to not only pay tribute to our legacy, but also to look ahead, to attract younger members, and position the Credit Union for growth.

So, what changes can you expect:

    • Website
A refreshed look/feel of our website, including responsive design capabilities, making it easier to view the site in various screen sizes (whether via a desktop, tablet, or a smartphone).
    • Print Materials
These items will be updated as well with the cost/roll out being carefully managed as part of normal business expenses.
    • Bi-annual Newsletter and Monthly eNewsletter
We are moving to a more robust twice annual printing of the newsletter (be on the lookout for the 1st edition coming soon!) and a regular monthly eNewsletter keeping you up to date each month on what’s happening here. Please make sure your email address and contact information is up-to-date with us so you don’t miss anything!
    • Social Media and Blog
The new brand will propel the credit union into the social space such as Facebook and Twitter. We also plan to launch a blog where you can stay up-to-date on events, promotions, educational opportunities, and community outreach being done by your credit union.
    • Lobby Updates
Just like our virtual branch is getting an overhaul, you will see changes slowly morph our physical branch to reflect the brand changes as well.
We are excited for what’s ahead and how it will help us continue to serve our members and live out our mission to improve each member’s financial life. Thank you for being a part of this story.
      Sincerely,
      Jim Lumpkin
